Who should take this Distance Learning course?
Applicable to all sectors, this mandatory course is relevant to all Ontario workplaces and accessible to everyone through instructor-led online delivery.
The Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development’s (MLTSD) training program standard requires that those certified under the requirements established on October 1, 2015 must complete a Refresher course every 3 years to maintain their certification and support ongoing learning. Completion of JHSC Certification Refresher Distance Learning renews individuals’ certification status and maintains certification under guidelines established and enforced by the MLTSD. Workplaces that regularly have 20 or more employees must ensure at least 2 personnel have completed JHSC Certification training.
Note: After completing JHSC Certification Part 2, you must complete this Refresher course before 3 years have passed, and then within every 3 years thereafter to maintain your certification status.
Once registered, you will receive zoom and course material links 3 Business Days before the course.
