2020 has been a year of great change. Many of us have made the transition to a work from home arrangements, while others have continued to work in office with their own unique set of challenges. We have all had to learn how to adjust to our new working environment; as we adjust to these changes, we are exposed to a variety of new health and safety challenges.
The challenges we experience in the home office settings are varied and complex as they require us to address all areas of function including the physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental challenges that workers experience on a day to day basis.
Please join us for our “Home Office Wellness” training. In this session, we will touch on some of the most common ergonomic challenges we experience in the home setting. We will be guide participants through exercises that can be used to combat some of the most common injuries associated with desk jobs. As well, we discuss a sensory approach to chronic stress. We will review ways in which workers can identify stressors in their work and life and take steps to better self-regulate sensory related challenges.
