This health and safety eLearning bundle consists of the following courses: WHMIS 2015 The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) 2015 is Canada's national hazard communication standard. The eLearning module provides information on WHMIS 2015 standard. Length – Approx 1.5 hrs Workplace Harassment This eLearning module provides an overview of existing statutory requirements for workplace violence and harassment under OHSA and the extended obligations arising from legislative changes. This eLearning module contains the information and resources that you need to ensure that you understand current legislation, organizational policies, procedures and protocols around workplace harassment and sexual harassment. Length – Approx 1 hr. Worker Awareness This eLearning module informs workers of their legislated health and safety rights, roles and responsibilities in relation to workplace safety. The intent is to assist Ontario workplaces with compliance to Regulation 297/13 Occupational Health and Safety Awareness Training. Participants will also learn about the Internal Responsibility System, supervisor duties and common workplace hazards, including Regulation 860 (WHMIS). Length – Approx 1 hr.     Mandatory Worker Awareness Training eLearning

    Worker Health & Safety Awareness eLearning will inform workers of their legislated health and safety rights, roles and responsibilities in relation to workplace safety. The intent is to assist Ontario workplaces with compliance to Regulation 297/13 Occupational Health and Safety Awareness Training. Participants will also learn about the Internal Responsibility System, supervisor duties and common workplace hazards, including Regulation 860 (WHMIS).
    This comprehensive, self-paced program is applicable for all sectors. Successful completion of this interactive and user-friendly training will ensure you are compliant with the Ministry of Labour’s newest regulation.

    Length: This course will take approximately 45 minutes to complete.

  • WHMIS 2015 eLearning

    The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) 2015 is Canada's new national hazard communication standard. This eLearning is designed for all employees at all levels across all sectors. The training provides information on the WHMIS 2015 standard. This design aids learners in identifying requirements. By completing this course, Ontario workers and supervisors will be able to:
    1. Describe what WHMIS 2015 is and why it is important to workers
    2. Describe what GHS is and how it affects WHMIS 2015
    3. Identify the WHMIS 2015 hazard classes and symbols
    4. Identify the types of information covered on supplier and workplace labels
    5. Describe the purpose, content and function of a Safety Data Sheet (SDS)
    6. Describe the hazards associated with controlled products
    7. Describe legal rights and duties under WHMIS 2015
    A certificate is provided upon successful completion of this course. To complete the course, learners must achieve at least 80% on the final quiz.     Workplace Harassment eLearning

    This PSHSA eLearning module provides an overview of existing statutory requirements for workplace violence and harassment under OHSA and the extended obligations arising from legislative changes. It’s important that everyone in the workplace adopt an attitude that it is never okay to engage in harassment or sexual harassment. There are specific rights and obligations under provincial legislation with respect to harassment and sexual harassment but more so, the safety and security of workers in the workplace is essential to promoting a production, harmonious and successful organization. This eLearning module contains the information and resources that you need to ensure that you understand current legislation, organizational policies, procedures and protocols around workplace harassment and sexual harassment.

    Course objectives include:

    • Describe the context and impact of workplace harassment and sexual harassment
    • Define terms used in the Occupational Health and Safety Act, (OHSA or The Act) workplace harassment legislation
    • Identify your rights and obligations under provincial harassment and sexual harassment legislation

    Length: This course will take approximately 1 hour to complete.
