April 10, 2013 – The PSHSA Board of Directors is composed of knowledgeable and experienced individuals with a history of leadership and commitment to the promotion of workplace health and safety. It is a competency-based board with representatives from across Ontario that reflect the diversity of sectors that we serve – education providers, cultural organizations, healthcare services, provincial and municipal government and community affairs.
The Board is comprised of individuals with expertise and experience in health and safety, finance/accounting, risk management, technology, human resources, law, policy development, corporate governance, and public relations and communications.
Given the Board’s current composition, we are seeking candidates with leadership experience in the following areas:
- Exposure to the Education Sector
- Information Management
- French Speaking
Please note that this is a volunteer role and elections will be held at the September 12, 2013 Annual General Meeting. Travel and other business expenses are reimbursed, if required, in accordance with established guidelines.
