PSHSA Featured in Star Metro – Health–care Workers Face Violence on the Job

Frontline health-care workers — such as nurses, doctors, personal support workers, administrative staff and dietary aides — provide essential services in hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and in home and community care. The hours are long and the work isn’t glamorous. “They got into the job because they want to help people,” says Van hulle.
