This classroom course is intended for municipal Chief Fire Officials who are responsible for approving fire safety plans for buildings containing Care Occupancies, Care and Treatment Occupancies and Retirement Homes. Successful completion of this course is mandatory for Chief Fire Officials who are required to meet qualification provisions outlined in Subsection 1.2.4 of Division C of the Fire Code, O. Reg. 213/07, as amended. Once you have registered for this course you will receive access to the Mastery Test. Please note that you may challenge the Mastery Test without attending the classroom course if you feel that you are prepared. Successful completion of the course will depend on an achievement of 70% on the test. The Mastery Test may be repeated if necessary.
