Implication of Bill 18

A recent update to Ontario law, Bill 18 may have some implications on your workplace that you might not know; This webinar will help you understand how to better protect your business and employees.

Bill 18 expands the definition of ‘worker’ to ensure OHSA coverage unpaid learners and co-op students. It also holds temporary help agencies and their clients accountable for certain employment standards violations, such as failure to pay overtime, regular wages and public holiday entitlements. It also expands employment protections to cover all foreign employees who enter the Ontario job market as a foreign temporary employee or immigration program.
