PSHSA’s Health and Safety for Leaders is a 1-Day course which builds on the competencies of being a supervisor. This instructor-led training will provide you with the skills and knowledge related to your responsibilities as a supervisor in the promotion of health and safety.
Course Content
In this course, you will learn:
• Applicable legislation, guidelines, OHSA requirements and best practices
• Your roles and responsibilities as a supervisor, what it means to be “competent” in your day-to-day activities and how you can move beyond compliance and fulfil your potential to become an engaging leader
• Practical skills related to promoting OHS in your workplace and ensuring compliance collectively and individually around OHS legislation
• How to take action to drive change and improve OHS and culture
