This 1-day instructor-led course for Designated Officers in the Public Safety sector covers the identification, treatment, and control of communicable diseases that can be contracted in the workplace. A Designated Officer acts as the Public Safety worker’s representative in investigating all reported exposure to a communicable disease and is a liaison with the local public health unit.
