Patricia Clausen

Patricia Clausen is the Interim Vice President, Health, Safety & Wellbeing at PSHSA, bringing more than 25 years of experience advancing workplace health, safety, and wellbeing across Ontario’s public sectors. With a strong background in Ontario’s public sectors and occupational health and safety, she is passionate about creating workplace cultures where people feel safe, healthy, and able to thrive.

Patricia provides strategic leadership for PSHSA’s Health, Safety & Wellbeing division, working alongside a dedicated team of professionals to deliver practical solutions that advance worker health, safety, and wellbeing across Ontario. She is known for her collaborative leadership style, commitment to innovation, and ability to build strong partnerships that drive meaningful results.

A people-centred leader, Patricia believes that safer and healthier workplaces are built through collaboration, continuous improvement and a shared commitment to workplace wellbeing. She is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering from the University of Guelph.
