Glenn Cullen
Chief Executive Officer & Chief Operating Officer
Glenn is a senior executive with 25 years of progressive responsibility and experience in small, medium and large-sized organizations. His career encompasses both for-profit and not for profit experience in the public and private sectors. Media, Financial Services, Information Technology, Consulting Services, Education, and Government make up Glenn’s portfolio of sector experience.

Past and current accountabilities and responsibilities have given Glenn a talent for and success in Strategic Planning, Organizational Design, Finance, IM/IT, Marketing, Human Resources, Business and Product Development.
Henrietta Van hulle
Vice President Client Outreach, Stakeholder & Government Relations
Henrietta has a deep commitment to and passion for improving the health and safety of those working in the public sector. With over 30 years’ experience, Henrietta has built a reputation of expertise and professionalism and is a valued member of every team. Henrietta is a passionate leader with a transformational and innovative leadership style, a high level of emotional intelligence, well-honed communication skills, and a proven ability to inspire and motivate. Her knowledge and experience encompasses all aspects of occupational health and safety, but specialties include infection prevention and control, workplace violence prevention and disability management.

Henrietta began her career as a Registered Nurse in the hospital sector where she cared for patients for 17 years before transitioning to Occupational Health and Safety. Henrietta has her Master of Health Services Management and Executive Leadership certificates from the Niagara Institute and the Schulich School of Business.

As Vice President of Outreach, Stakeholder & Government Relations at PSHSA, Henrietta leads a cross-functional team of health and safety professionals in supporting Ontario’s public sector employers and workers, and the province’s occupational health and safety strategy. She enjoys working collaboratively with senior leaders and stakeholders to develop and institute innovative health and safety best practices which will provide the foundation and capacity to achieve greater advances in corporate safety culture.

Continuing her passion for safe, quality care Henrietta serves as a volunteer Board Member and Past Chair of Advanced Gerontological Education Inc.
Shannon Hunt
Vice President, Organizational & Operational Excellence
Shannon Hunt is an accomplished and respected executive with extensive operations management, product management and strategic implementation experience across the public and private sectors. In her current role as Vice President, Organizational & Operational Excellence, Shannon leads the Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology and Client Experience teams actively working on implementing cross-organizational strategies to create alignment and enable the organization to operate at its full potential. She is also spearheading the development and implementation of customer and employee experience strategy, which includes the introduction and full implementation of a customer centric operating model across the organization.

She is recognized for conceptualizing and forming teams from the ground up to capitalize on emerging opportunities, and for applying new models to address complex problems and drive sustainable results. Notably, she launched an enterprise-wide business process function which supported the North American merger and acquisition activity. Established, defined, and implemented a Research & Development function to support knowledge translation of peer reviewed literature to the end-user. This included participation in academic research projects and co-authoring an article published in the Journal of Industrial Ergonomics. She is also credited with fully creating a new role to support skills trade training, governance, and consulting in the utility space. Most recently she led the planning and re-integration of the Client Experience Team within PSHSA as a key part of the strategy to reclaim the customer experience.

Shannon joined Public Services Health & Safety Association as the Director, Digital Creations and Products where she both optimized the solutions portfolio for improved delivery effectiveness and implemented successful go-to-market strategies which significantly contributed to top line revenue and amplified the reach of programming. Here, she led the team that delivered the first Joint Health and Safety Certification Part 1 eLearning program approved by Ontario’s Chief Prevention Officer. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, she led the organization’s pivot to virtual instructor-led training delivery to meet health and safety needs of the market and support business continuity.

Shannon serves as a Member of the Cedar Centre Board of Directors, and previously acted as Treasurer of the Board of an Art-based organization.

Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) from Western University, a Master of Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto and has completed the Executive Leadership – Personal certificate training program from the University of Toronto.
