MLITSD Seeks Feedback on Proposed Amendments to the OHSA

TORONTO - The Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training, and Skills Development (MLITSD) requests comments on two proposed amendments to the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).

 

The ministry is seeking feedback on the need for a separate heat stress regulation and the issue of poor outdoor air quality in Ontario workplaces.

 

Comments can be submitted until Sept. 1, 2023. MLITSD is conducting a Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA) and is interested in hearing about these amendments’ potential costs and benefits. Visit the MLITSD website to learn more and provide feedback:
