A risk of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD) in Group Homes and other facilities are present due to maneuvering objects and the lift, transfer, or reposition of individuals. Employers must establish written measures and procedures for MSD prevention. This workshop will provide participants with a stepwise approach to creating a MSD prevention program for their workplace

The objective of hazard specific workshops is to provide an overview of the hazards that will be a focus of the proactive initiative. Participants will be provided with resources to assess their efforts related to each hazard and help generate an action plan for future conformance activities. Follow up and onsite assistance can be requested. Your PSHSA consultant can assist with specific policies and program development if needed at your location(s).
